Fanfare HVAC software app for Google Android smartphones1.0 Downloading and Installing Fanfare The Fanfare download consists of a single zip file named Fanfare_Android.zip. After downloading to a PC or Mac, Fanfare_Android.zip should be unzipped into any chosen folder. The Android installation file is named Fanfare.apk. Prior to installing Fanfare, non-Market applications need to be allowed to be installed. Click Settings, click Applications and check Unknown sources. 1.1 Device with PC synchronisation software For devices which are supplied with synchronisation software, eg HTC devices with HTC Sync, that software should be used to install Fanfare. 1.2 Device without PC synchronisation software Copy the downloaded file to the SD card and replace the card in the device. The device will need to have both a file manager (eg, OI File Manager) and a package installer (eg Apps Installer). Both are avilable free from the Android app store. Launch the installer and click on Fanfare.apk to install Fanfare.
